Garth Brooks is back for his first network special since his CBS concert "Coast to Coast" then produced by Jon Small.

For the CBS special Live from Los Angeles' Staples Center, Garth turned once again to his friend and director Jon Small to bring the viewers unique access through great photography, sound and lighting, of his extraordinary two-day, five-show extravaganza. All proceeds from the concerts, will be donated to the "Southern California 2008 Fire Intervention Relief Effort (F.I.R.E.)

AEG Network LIVE and Sprint, in association with National CineMedia's FATHOM, presented Garth Brooks on the big screen in select movie theatres nationwide. Garth had stepped out for nine special sold-out concerts from the new Sprint Center in Kansas City, with the finale telecast LIVE.

While there is nothing that can beat being physically present for the dynamic and powerful Brooks’ live experience, the big screen presentation came real close to feeling like you were right there. Produced and directed by JON SMALL, the visuals in HD, on a grand scale of a movie theatre, had close ups of Garth so intimate, you could see the joy and fire in his eyes. The music mix was phenomenal with a surround sound system that created the feeling that while you were physically in the movie theatre, your head was sitting in the middle of that Sprint arena.

A 10-time Country Music "Entertainer of the Year" award winner, he is known for his dynamic and powerful concerts and described by many as "THE musical highlight of a lifetime."

BRAD PAISLEY'S "5TH GEAR TOUR" CAPTURED IN HD

Picture Vision's director Jon Small used 14 HD cameras to capture Brad's high tech tour which was filmed in St Louis in front of 16000 loyal Brad Paisley fans. "HD was the only way to go," per Small, " Brad uses more than 1000 Versa-tubes to light his amazing high energy tour. There were other chanallanges as well; there were another 40 LED TV monitors on stage, so that meant that all of them had to be balanced for the HD shoot."

In addition to directing 14 cameras, Small used 3 jibs,1 super techno crane with 2 cameras mounted on it,
2 Stadi-cams, 3 peds, 1 remote Hot-head and 4 Hand held cameras.

It took two days to set up, 1 day to shoot the show and another 3 days were spent shooting Brad's interviews which were set in Nahville, St. Louis and Ojai, CA.

Jon Small Directs Rascal Flatts Live In Vegas

The Las Vegas strip came to life when more than 1000 Rascal Flatts fans came to see their favorite band’s performance for the 2006 CMA Awards presentation.

Unlike most of the live performances during the awards show which were set on the stage of the MGM Grand Hotel, Rascal Flatts turned to long- time concert director Jon Small to give their performance a different live look.

"I wanted to capture the indigenous excitement of the place" said Small and so the vibrant Vegas strip was the perfect backdrop for this performance." With a small army of the best live TV crew, 10 cameras, 3 cranes, including the 50" techno crane, Small captured the band’s performance and to add another dimension to the excitement, he included pyro and fire explosions to the already rocking Rascal Flatts latest single "Me And My Gang."

Garth Brooks Live From Central Park (HBO)

An HBO Special and the highest-rated HBO original program for the year. It was the most-watched special on Cable TV for the year. The show received a Cable ACE nomination for best musical and was nominated for six Emmys. The event broke the record for the largest crowd ever to attend a concert in the park.
