With the viewing audience's record number of votes, this year's winner was Angela Hacker who beat out over 20,000 show hopefuls. Considered the one to beat from the very first episode, Angela's consistently strong performance resonated with viewers each week, earning her this season's win. She was awarded a recording contract with Warner Bros., a brand new Chevy truck and will tour this summer with other Nashville Star contestants, including the first runner-up, brother Zac Hacker. In fact, the siblings will do a duet album, thus Warner Bros. awarded two record deals. ![]() Cowboy Troy
